Steve has over 49 years in the flying business, 27,500 flying hours-primarily on float planes and flying boats. As of March 2023, 51,000 water landings and the same number of water take-offs, Steve is known in the aviation industry for his meticulous attention to detail, long standing experience and knowledge of seaplane operations.
Making him one of the safest and most trusted seaplane pilots in Australia.
When Steve is not in the air …
You’ll find him cleaning and maintaining his beautiful seaplane, escaping to the slopes of the Snowy Mountains in winter and spending time with his best mate, Mr Green, a very special Eclectus parrot.

Each night, our beautiful deHavilland Beaver Amphibian (AKA ‘The Beaver’) is flown to its home base at Bankstown Airport.
It undergoes 2 hours of intensive safety checks before preparation for the next flying day.
